Okay, I don't exactly MISS the cold weather and snow, I just don't like the humidity we have been having. So, I will leave the wintery picture on my title for a bit of relief and reminder for everyone who is suffering with this latest weather pattern. YUCK!

I guess it was high time for me to post something...I just haven't had much to say, so I took to easy way out...pictures!

Killer, dude....

Change is GOOD.....

It was a pretty color, but the cabinets just melted into the wall...not what I had planned. A drastic change was called for...



It was the scariest decorating project I have ever attempted. Painting my wood cabinets....Anything could go wrong!

All the doors and drawer fronts had to come off, then I primed everything, etc....



The end result was...pleasing, to say the least!




Wish I could show you all in person...these pictures don't do it justice...

My advice in the "scary decorating" department: Have confidence in what you love. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish!
Next on the list: A new countertop (check it out HERE) and sink...


p.s. I had to add this pic of Pippin...he is THE cutest cat on the planet! (Dontcha just love his freckle?) I hope Emma doesn't read my blog...she may be offended...she's cute, too...for a girl cat.
