A moment in history:

Okay, that sounds very exciting...when, in fact, this post is not going to be exciting at all! Just my day in chronological order....

~Got up at 8:00am
~made waffles for the kids (and yes, I did have one, too!)
~watched a bit of "It's me or the dog"....that show on Animal planet with Victoria Whats-her-name...the dog trainer. (cool show...I actually like her very much!)
~went over school with Ollie and Paulie
~took shower
~cleaned downstairs bathroom
~did laundry
~wrote grocery list
~ate a half of peanut butter and black raspberry jam sandwich
~went out to do errands, which included, two banks, picking up Mel's new contacts and grocery shopping
~came home, did more laundry
~made bread dough for grilled bread
~made broiled ginger teryaki salmon to have with the bread
~cleaned kitchen
~got second wind
~went out to the gardens and turned over the dirt, added fertilizer and watered. (all the while the black flies attacking my tender skin)
~went to pick up Mel at work....

Now I am sitting in my recliner watching "Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade"

What a day! (although, as I list it, it doesn't seem as hectic somehow!)

p.s. I forgot to mention our new addition: a baby parakeet named "Mr. Schneebly" or "Dewey".
He is adorable.
